Andrew Chapman has worked in nearly every aspect of independent publishing for over 20 years, including as an author, writer, copy writer, technical writer, editor, proofreader, project manager, consultant, speaker, instructor, and publisher.
Some of this experience was gained working for two of the largest marketing, advertising, and branding agencies in San Diego — Wirestone and Townsend Agency. During these years, he developed a significant understanding of high-level marketing and branding strategies that he has used to help many entrepreneurs, professionals, authors, and small publishers multiply their promotional efforts.
Andrew's been instrumental in countless publishing projects of all sizes and formats, including books, booklets, audio, video, marketing materials, websites, magazines, catalogs, instructional manuals, technical guides, and more. These project clients have ranged from individuals, such as authors and entrepreneurs, to major corporations, such as Hewlett-Packard and Warner Bros.
In addition to his practical experience, Andrew holds a Bachelor's Degree in Publishing from George Mason University, earned with a perfect 4.0 grade-point average and nine credits of graduate-level coursework. He also has been the president of Publishers & Writers of San Diego, a professional association, since 2003 (and a member since 1998).
